Essential Oils For Trigger Finger

Do you suffer from a painful trigger point in your finger? Do you constantly have stiffness, heat, or shooting pain in this area? If you answered yes to any of these questions then regularly using essential oils for the trigger point in your finger will greatly help you get relief. Although named trigger point, the area affected may not only be your index or middle finger, sometimes trigger point can affect almost any finger on both hands or even several fingers at once. Essential oils for the trigger point can be used to provide pain relief and to improve circulation in this area.

Tea Tree Oil is one of the top 4 essential oils that work to reduce inflammation and provide pain relief by relaxing the muscles around the painful tendons. It is also very effective for reducing swelling and relieving stiffness. If you are looking to buy Tea Tree Oil drops for use in treating trigger finger use a good quality product such as Heat Therapy for Glutensils to reduce inflammation and reduce swelling. Also consider using essential fatty acids such as Olive Oil or Capuacu Butter. These oils reduce inflammation and are excellent for treating stress and for healing tendon sheath damage.

Many people like to use essential oils directly on their joints. Lavender and Peppermint oils both relieve joint pain and also provide cooling relief and a cooling sensation. Other good choices include Peppermint and Basil which are also excellent for blood circulation. Both of these oils can be used undiluted in a warm bath and for massaging your fingers after an exercise session. Essential oils are also excellent when diluted with carrier oils such as coconut oil before applying directly to the skin.

If you are trying to reduce swelling and inflammation then try using Peppermint, Lavender or Chamomile. All three oils have anti-inflammatory properties which can help the joint to relax. If you feel that your finger is causing any more discomfort then take some of the oil and rub directly onto the area. Always apply a small amount at first and then increase your daily usage up to twice a day. However it's important to note that not all essential oil brands work equally well so it's worth experimenting with different essential oils in order to achieve results similar to each other.

One of the best things about using essential oils for thumb relief is that they are readily available. They are available in supermarkets and drug stores and even in many supermarkets and drug stores around the world. It's simple to find them because they are on every bottle of shampoo, lotion and toothpaste! As well as being available everywhere, they're cheap and are usually easily absorbed into the skin so they will provide fast relief from stiffness and soreness. Just like with any medication for soreness and stiffness you'll still need to follow the medication to get the full benefit so don't stop taking your medicine suddenly.

The best essential oils for trigger finger treatment are ones that have a coconut aroma. There is some speculation as to why coconut oil has a unique smell to it but it's most likely because the liquid is made from the steam distillation of the coconut meat and that it carries with it a unique scent. You may wish to try mixing a few drops of coconut oil with rosemary, peppermint or lavender essential oils as a carrier oil to keep your hands fresh and moisturized throughout the day.

Essential oils for trigger fingers can also be used as a carrier oil for other medicinal treatments. If you are suffering from arthritis then adding camphor oil to your bath water can help to alleviate some of the pain associated with the condition. In the same way if you suffer from eczema then adding coconut oil to your bath water can help to relieve the dry skin caused by the condition. Essential oils for camping trips can be used as mosquito repellents as well so make sure that you include camphor oil with any camping treatment that you choose to use.

You can also find essential oils for trigger finger that are designed to reduce inflammation of the joints and muscles. Joint inflammation is commonly known as rheumatoid arthritis and is characterized by swelling and pain in the joints. An example of an oil that can be used in this case would be cypress oil. As you can see there are many uses for natural essential oils and if you are experiencing any kind of persistent, unexplained pain, it might be time to see your doctor and ask for advice.
