Essential Oils For Body Odor

In this article I'm going to talk about some essential oils that help with body odors. There are a few different types of oils that can be used for this purpose. Each one has a different effect. One example would be patchouli oil. Patchouli oil helps to make you smell more pleasant. This is usually used as a scent in aromatherapy products.

Lavender Essential oils are another alternative for people who suffer from bad smelling vaginal odors. You can make a spray with the leaves and apply to your vagina. Make sure you add some extra drops of carrier oil to the mix because the amount you put will vary depending on how strong the odor is. Using drops of essential oils like lavender will give you the scent that you want with no added chemicals or additives to your vagina. Carrier oil and lavender also work really well with other natural ingredients to make a very potent and effective douche. These are both safe to use in combination with each other.

Neroli Essential oil is a popular choice for an antibacterial treatment for vaginal odor. A very fragrant, orange flower, it gives off a wonderful aroma when the plant is used. You can find both unscented and scented forms of Neroli oil. A quick internet search will show you a great website where you can buy the highest quality forms. Essential oil using Neroli will give you a long lasting aroma without having to worry about any nasty side effects.

Tea Tree Essential oils are also good for combating bacteria and keeping your vaginal area clean and fresh. Tea Tree Oil has a lot of antibacterial properties, including antiseptic and antifungal. It also has antimicrobial properties and can help with warts and other skin irritations. This can be very helpful if you are trying to treat a specific condition.

Bergamot Essential oil is also good at preventing odors. This light yellow oil can be used to freshen up a room by adding just a few drops to bathwater or a shower gel. It is also wonderful as an antiseptic and antibacterial agent. You can add a few drops to a homemade cleaning product like dish soap or even shaving cream. The smell and the antimicrobial properties of this oil will kill the bacteria in your pores and help to reduce the odor.

Geranium Essential oils have been used for hundreds of years as a deodorant. The scent of geranium essential oil is a very sweet, floral smell that is pleasant and calming. Geranium is a popular choice for an aromatherapy candle. When added to water, the scent of geranium essential oils will produce a very pleasant smell in your bathroom.

Citronella Essential oils can be a quick way to get rid of a bad odor. Citronella is not only an effective antibacterial but it has a pleasant citrus smell as well. When added to a room spray or when boiled in water to make a solution, you can use citronella as an effective treatment for unpleasant smells. The oils of cypress, lemon, lavender, orange, rose, and mint are other excellent choices for eliminating unpleasant body odors. You can find citronella candles on store shelves as well as many other personal care items.

There are many essential oils that are not only pleasant smelling but have a strong disinfecting effect as well. Lemon, geranium, peppermint, lavender, and rosemary oils are all recognized as having strong disinfecting properties. If you do not like the strong scent of these oils, you can find alternatives that have a milder scent. These alternative scented oils include cedarwood, eucalyptus, marjoram, pine, rosemary, sandalwood, ylang, thyme, and rose.
